Hi everyone! I'm Anne, a 28 year old photographer based in Amsterdam. I grew up in Canada and moved to Amsterdam in 2020. I always enjoyed taking pictures leisurely but lately I've really found my passion in photography. I always do it in my free time and I act as my friends' personal photographer and cultural curator. I will always have my camera(s) on me and will be trying to take either candid or extremely staged photos. Taking photos has typically been a way for me to create a diary, to have a visual recollection of a day, moment or experience spent by myself or with my friends. It started with wanting to capture the banal - interactions, conversations, looks and glances - and expanded to more intentional elements - clothes, locations, movements.  As I spend more and more time taking, staging, editing photos, I decided to platform my portfolio somewhere other than Instagram, where it is more highly curated.
